It was in the wisdom and passion of the founding Trustees that Silab is founded to be a beacon of light in these trying times. From a path in becoming news agency, Silab took the path in becoming a community that enables other people to be of their best versions through its programs. The Board of Trustees crafted through a series of debates and amendment the Unified Sustainable Works and Accomplishment Graphic (USWAG) Ten Year Development Plan.

Each year focuses on one priority that serves as preparation to sustain the established processes and programs that are beneficial to Silab. It is called uswag due to two (2) things: first, it is the Bisayan translation for "move forward; progress"; second, it serves as the abbreviation for the development plan.

It is called Unified for it covers the major aspects concerning the various entities in Silab and the factors that may be involved in the project's execution.

It is Sustainable for all established programs and projects will be for a long-term execution.

It is Works in the reason that all members, stakeholders, and partners will take action, applying theories and ideas to ensure that goals will be achieved.

It is Accomplishments for it will contain accomplished tasks, including the negative ones. For the ability to determine error and glitches are also accomplishments.

It is Graphic because it is a document. A tool wherein all actions and executions were written. It shall be an aid for people to meet all ends. Uswag will be published annually and therefore as a compilation.

Now, that Silab is in Priority Year 2022, the journey continues and the flame, the silab shall continue to ablaze. Uswag, Silab, uswag!
